Peacefully on 20th August 2026, aged 90 years.

Former Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland and Chaplain General to the British Armed Forces.

Beloved husband of Anne, much-loved father of Jane and Paul, and a cherished grandfather.

A Thanksgiving service to celebrate his life and ministry will be held on Wednesday 9th September at 2.30pm at Durisdeer Church.
