John LeslieHANSONOn the 21st August 2026 peacefully at home in Kirkheaton with his loving family around him, John aged 86 years.

Dearly loved husband of Pauline, much loved dad of Darren, Wayne and Julie, dear father-in-law of Jane and Gary and proud and loving grandad of Jacob, Harry, Joe, Alfie, Oliver, Elsie and the late Lucy May and a loving great grandad of Billie.

A graveside service will take place at Kirkheaton Cemetery, Lane Side Lane, HD5 0EP on Wednesday 16th September at 1.30pm, in accordance with John's wishes.

Family flowers only please.

Sending my sincere condolences to Pauline and the family. I have only recently got to know John through our Home from Home. A very nice gentleman who had an interesting life and will be sadly missed by the whole group. Xx

So sorry, to hear the sad news ,John was a very good friend over many years and remember our good times playing basketball and football and many sporting conversations over the years . Our condolences to Pauline and all the family , may he rest in peace Ian and Christina Calvert

Sorry to hear the sad news of the passing of John.
We have been good friends for many years, stretching back to our football playing days together.
John was always positive and friendly and he will definitely be missed.
