William DonaldTHURSTONDon Peacefully on Friday 24th January 2020 at Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli, Don, aged 89 years of Gordon Road, Dafen, sadly passed away. The beloved husband of Margaret, much loved dad (Genius) of Julie, Jeremy and Stephen, loved and devoted grampa of Tracey, Daniel, Shaunna and Cian and very proud great grampa of Archie and Evie-Grace, sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral on Monday 10th February 2020, Public Service at Llanelli Crematorium at 2.00pm. Family flowers only please, but donations in Don's memory, if desired to the Cats Protection League c/o Funeral Director Ian M Smith of Autumn Leaf Independent Family Funeral Directors The Old Vestry Tabernacle, Seaview Terrace, Burry Port, Carms, SA16 0EN. Gosh, I could write a book of all the happy memories! Don AKA Genius, was a constant source of laughs, jokes and pranks, but was also so very kind and generous; always willing to help with advice or ‘fixing’ things (hence the AKA)!! I have spent many a holiday or party where he would always be the main prankster, making us all laugh so much! He was such the character and will be sorely missed but absolutely never forgotten!
I send all my love and thoughts to all the family at this very sad time and I hope all the special, happy memories you all shared will help support you all.
