Peacefully at St. Bede's Hospice on 1st September aged 80 years. Bob, cherished husband to the late Lillias and a devoted dad to Gary and Claire. Loving father-in-law to Michael and Alison and an adored grandad to John Robert and Ethan Robert. A dear brother to Eileen, Iris and the late George, Colin and Eddie. A dear brother-in-law to Rod and Marion, Bob was also a special uncle. Also a treasured friend of Mick and the late Angie.
Family and friends please meet at St. Nicholas Church, Dunston, on Tuesday 22nd September at 10:30 am. Cremation to follow at Mountsett Crematorium, Dipton, at 11:45am.
A retiring collection will be taken after the service in aid of St. Bede's Unit, Queen Elizabeth Hospital. All welcome afterwards to the Glebe Sports Club, Whickham. Bob will be sadly missed by all.
