KathleenYATESAfter bravely battling cancer for the last 5 years, on 10th December, aged 78, our beloved Kath sadly and suddenly passed away peacefully at home in Denia, Spain. Kathleen leaves her loving husband Colin, son Stephen and Partner Tracey, younger son Jonathan and his family, Sister-in-Laws, Diane and Sandra, Brother-in-Law Clarrie, Cousin Stephen and Barbara. Kath worked happily for Hyndburn Borough Council's Chief Executive Department for 25 years. She was fortunate to spend her last 22 years living happily in her beloved Denia. Kath loved dining alfresco, as well as Cruising holidays, which included her lifetime ambition of cruising the Hawaiian Islands with husband Colin. She was also a keen member of the gym. Our precious Kath will be dearly missed by all her family and friends and will always remain a very special wife, mum and friend who is and continues to be 'Simply the Best'.
