StuartWORDENMr Alan Stuart Worden sadly passed away on Thursday, July 22, aged 73, at Royal Blackburn Hospital. Stuart, as he was known, was the beloved brother of Anne, Stephen and Suzanne, brother-in-law of Sandra, and cherished uncle to Steven, Mark, Jessica, Samantha, Rebecca and Rhys, and also a good friend to many. Born in Oswaldtwistle, Stuart was a proud family man and animal lover. An avid sports fan too, Stuart was a regular face at Accrington Stanley, as well as Church & Oswaldtwistle Cricket Club, where he will be missed by many. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 4 at 1pm at Accrington Crematorium. Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of Stuart can be made to Cancer Research UK or Leukaemia UK. Funeral director: Oswaldtwistle Funeral Services.
