So sorry to hear of Brian’s death, my condolences to Helen and Liz. Brian took a leap of faith in offering me my first full-time teaching position in 1979, and I soon became part of the loving Kinnersley staff. Many years later I too became a Headteacher in Oxfordshire and later started my own school in a tiny island, Eleuthera, The Bahamas, now my full-time home. Without Brian’s mentorship I could very well be living in Stoke and having a very different life. I will always be grateful for the step up he gave me, we achieve great things when we are surrounded by greatness.
