Edward SamuelWOODWARDPassed away peacefully at home, where he so wished to be, wrapped in the love of his family, on the 31st of March 2026, aged 79 years.

Reunited with his beloved wife, Sue, loving dad to Tim and Clare, father-in-law to Claire and Rob, grandpa to Ellie and Rob, Sarah and Callum, Adam and Will, proud great-grandpa to Paisley and Rosie.

Would family and friends please meet at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe on Monday the 20th of April 2026 at 12:40 for service and committal.

Please wear what makes you feel comfortable. Ted would've liked that.

Donations in lieu of flowers would be gratefully accepted for "Local Macmillan Nurses" c/o

I had the pleasure of working with Ted at Bagmoor many years ago, as a young man of 21 he was a great mentor, a true gentleman who became a great friend. I will treasure all of his guidance, advice and many memories from over the years. Andy
