He emigrated with his family to America in 1952. He is survived by Mary, his beloved wife of sixty-four years, daughters Anne and Carol son-in-law Hugh, granddaughters Meredith and Sarah and four great-grandchildren. Also his sisters, Mrs Susan Scott of East Kilbride and Mrs Elizabeth Kane of Shotts.Thank you to all who have expressed their sympathy to his family in California and Scotland.
