BarbaraWOODAntony, Mark, Craig, Gavin and all the family of Barbara Mary Wood (nee Lownds) would like to thank everyone for the love and support shown to them during the past few weeks since Barbara's passing on the 15th January 2020. We would like to thank Fr. Martin for his care during the preparations and especially to Fr. Philip for his guidance and for conducting such a warm and celebratory Requiem Mass on the 14th February. It was a fitting and overwhelming tribute to her life with so many family, friends and former teaching colleagues filling the church to pray for her soul and paying their last respects. We also thank Fr. Eric for receiving Barbara into the church on the 13th and to Janet Sadler for her beautiful playing of the organ. Sincere thanks to Sigleys for their kind, sympathetic and dignified support and direction of the funeral arrangement and care of Barbara and the family through a very difficult time. Thank you also for everybody's thoughtful and generous donations made towards the NSPCC, The British Heart Foundation, and The Bumblebee Conservation Trust. Thank you to Rachelle for arranging the flowers and for making the wonderfully creative bumblebee wreath. Finally, we thank the parishioners of the Catholic Church of St. Mary - Barbara's church - for their compassion and continued support.
