Grateful thanks to Macmillan Nurses, North Staffs Infirmary, Dr A Hudson for his care and support throughout, in particular during Dave's last hour, Nigel for his help during Dave's illness and Rachel who helped in difficult times. Heartfelt thanks to Rev Hazel Rugman whose words of comfort at the service totally epitomised the essence of Dave. The family were overwhelmed by the depth of regard held for Dave shown by his friends, workmates and neighbours whose numbers swelled the chapel. Special thanks to Christina and Simon of Floral Creations, Coronation Crescent, Crewe. The magnificent floral tributes, particularly the cushion and motorbike are testament to Christina's brilliant artistry and were truly wonderful. Appreciation to Graham Tresidder for the sensitive and professional manner for undertaking the arrangements in such difficult circumstances.
