John ArthurWILLIAMS08.12.1933 - 09.03.2008 It is with great sadness that the family announce the death of John Arthur Williams, who passed away on March 9, aged 74, after a long illness. John was the beloved husband of Mary Pat, much loved father of Martin and daughter-in-law Debra. For those who knew John, he was a keen fisherman and gardener and he will be missed greatly by his family. Floral tributes were from family only with donations to Cancer Aid Dowlais. We would like to thank all our family and friends for the sympathy shown at this sad time and to thank everyone for the many sympathy and mass cards, for their generous donations and for attending the service. Thank you to Father Michael Evans for his warm words of comfort at the service from St Illtyd's Catholic Church and to Caradoc Price Tegwyn Griffiths & Sons for their compassion, guidance and respect in carrying out the funeral arrange-ments. A special thank you to the Dowlais Con Club for the generous buffet kindly supplied on the day of the funeral and to Eileen and Dinny, Cath and Gerald, and also to Linda for being there.
