Iris HelenWHITEMAN(formerly of Mountsorrel) Passed away peacefully after a short illness at Longcliffe Nursing Home on 8th February, 2009 aged 91 years. Much loved wife of the late Joe, mother to Elaine, mother-in-law to Steve and Grandma to Liam and Jonathan. Loved and remembered always. With grateful thanks to the nurses, carers and domestic staff, both past and present, for their care of Iris during the time she lived in Longcliffe Nursing Home. Thanks also for the support given to Elaine, particularly over the past difficult year and during Iris's final illness. The funeral service will take place at 11.00am on Monday 16th February 2009 at Loughborough Crematorium and afterwards at Charnwood Lodge, Leicester Road, Loughborough.
