RogerWHEWELLof Crawshawbooth, passed
away at home surrounded by his loving family on
November 26, aged 86.
In his younger years Roger was a farmer on the
family farm, prior to retirement he worked as a
market trader.
He also served in the RAF - National Service.
Roger was a table tennis player, enjoyed gardening
and fishing. He was a member of East Lancashire
Hyndburn Table Tennis Club.
Roger leaves his wife Ann, daughter Lisa, son
Howard, daughter-in-law Laura, son-in-law Gary,
grandchildren Kristan, Lauren, Jessica, Tyler and
Jack. Great-grandchildren Archie, Elliot, sister Sheila
and brother-in-law Maurice, nephews and
nieces.
The funeral will be held at Accrington Cemetery
on Monday, December 9 at 11am.
Family flowers only, donations to Rossendale
Hospice.
