KathWEETMAN(née Briers) Passed away peacefully at Stanley House Nursing Home on Wednesday 27th May 2026, aged 96 years.

Loving wife of the late Bill Weetman and loving mother to the late Andrew (Andy) Weetman. May they all rest in peace together.

Funeral will be held at Markeaton Crematorium on Wednesday 24th June at 2:00pm.

Family flowers only and mourners to wear bright colours at Kath's request, donations to Children with Cancer UK can be made online, on the day of the funeral or sent care of A.W. Lymn

Kath painted and created her own greetings cards. I was lucky enough to receive several of these cards which always included a thoughtful message. I particularly treasure the one she sent me recently when my mum died which was of snowdrops bursting through the grass. She wasn't to know but snowdrops were my mum's and my favourites. Thank you Kath
