20th April 2026. Happy heavenly birthday to dear nanny Wanklyn, our dad's mum.
Louisa Caroline Wanklyn was born on this day back in 1902, in Gilligham, North Dorset. She married our grandad, Albert Edward Wanklyn and raised a happy family upon moving to their forever home in Cranmore Road, Shirley, Warwickshire.
We were very young when you died, nanny but we know your loving influence on our dad will have helped us to become the people we are today.
Thank you and God bless.
Kevin, Steven and Helen xxx.

Saturday the 28th of February, 2026. In loving memory of our dear Grandad Wanklyn, our Dad's dad, who died on this day back in 1994.
Albert Edward Wanklyn was born in Hereford on the 9th of September, 1904. Grandad married nanny, Louisa Caroline Kendal from Gillingham in north Dorset. Family life began near Hereford in the tiny hamlet of Sollers Hope, and then a move to their forever home in Cranmore Road in Shirley, Solihull where they raised 5 children.
The love and care grandad showed us while growing up has left us with more beautiful memories than we can possibly count. Fizzy pop and sweet treats around nanny and grandad's, while exploring a garden so immaculated tended with its flowers, waterfalls and fountains, light shows and mechanical wizardry that it was, in our stunned eyes, fit for a king. Climbing through boiling hot greenhouses and their twisted vines to pinch a cheeky handful of grapes, even if they were too sour to eat. These are what we remember with deep fondness about our beloved grandad.
Thank you, grandad, for all the fun, guidance and inspiration, and for helping us to be who we are today.
Kevin, Steven and Helen x

Happy Heavenly Christmas to our dear mum and dad. May your favourite flowers splash bright sunshine onto your parents' graves where there's also a little sprinkling of you both. God bless and mind how you go xx
