Dad,

Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and miss you. I hope you know how much I love you and how grateful I am for everything you did for me.

Since Steve joined you in March, my heart has been carrying an extra sadness. I like to think that the two of you have found each other again, sharing a laugh and looking down on us together. The thought brings me comfort on the difficult days.

Please look after him for me until we meet again. Tell him I love him and miss him every single day. There is such a huge space in my life without him, but I carry all the wonderful memories of both of you in my heart.

I hope you're both at peace, watching over PJ and me, guiding us through life and sending us strength when we need it most.
