GeorgeWALLISPassed away peacefully at the Royal Derby Hospital on Friday 24th July 2026, aged 94 years. Beloved husband of the late Doreen, cherished dad of Paul and Jacqueline, dearly loved father-in-law to Kim and Paul, dear brother of June, treasured uncle to Melanie, a devoted grandpa, and a wonderful friend to many. George will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
George's funeral service will take place on Tuesday 18th August 2026 at 12:30pm at Markeaton Crematorium (Main Chapel).
Family flowers only, by request. Donations in memory of George, if desired, may be given at the service and will benefit Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that was close to George's heart.
