NancyTHORPETHORPE - NANCY, September 2, 2021. It is with a sadness tempered by the knowledge of a life well lived that the family of Nancy Thorpe of Milman Close, Ormskirk, announce the death of their dear Mother, Nana and Little Nana. Nancy passed peacefully, aged 98 years. She is survived by her three children Noelle, Alison and Jeffrey and their spouses Bernard, Cliff and Lynda: also by her grandchildren Julia, Victoria, Isabelle, Roseanne, Alexander and James; her grandson in law Gilad and her great grandchildren Ethan and Maya. Nancy is also survived by her sister Ruth. Her enormous zest for life, fine contralto voice, perfect hanging baskets and boundless appreciation of the hilarious will be most missed. Grateful appreciation to the staff at The Croft Residential Care Home in Whalley for their loving care of Nancy over the last eight months. A funeral service which will be a celebration of of Nancy's life will be held at West Lancashire Crematorium on Thursday 23rd September at 2pm followed by a reception at Hurlston Hall Golf Club. No black. Brightly coloured attire is requested. Flowers from immediate family only. Instead please make a donation to glaucoma.uk or fightforsight.org.uk
