Teresa AnneTHORPE, of Howard Close, Accrington, died on Tuesday, October 8, aged 74. Teresa was a housewife for most of her life. She had worked at Rists Wires after leaving school and then on the checkout at the old Asda on Blackburn Road before becoming a full-time mother. Teresa loved her music and theatre - as a teenager she joined Oswaldtwistle Civic Amateur Dramatics Club - and she also loved dining out. Wife of Ian, she was sister to Michael, mother to David and Gabrielle, mother-in-law to Deborah and grandmother to Rebecca and Jamie. The funeral took place on Wednesday, October 23.
