MayTHORNTONPassed away peacefully at home on 29th June 2026 aged 97 years surrounded by her loving family.

Wife of the late Ted, Loving Mum of Linda, Susan, Edwina and Peter and the late Vivian, proud Nan of Paul, Vickie, Sherrie, Lisa, Christopher, Nicola (Nicky Noo Noo), Natalie, Connor, Prentice and Tegan (TT), Mama to Niamh, Great Nany to Hayden, Chloe, Amelia and Loxley, a Special Mother-in-Law of John, Derek, Danny and Ellie, a very respected Nan-in-Law to Verity, Vanessa, Nic, Brian, Natalie and Ollie, a Dear Aunt to Cathy.

'A beautiful lady, a beautiful peaceful passing after a life very well lived. You will be missed so much' xxx.

Funeral Service at All Saints Church, Asfordby on Friday 31st July 2026 at 11:00am followed by a private interment.

Donations for 'Alzheimer's Society' can still be made in May's memory directly to the charity.

A donation of £236.78 was added by Shane Mousley of Butterfly Funeral Services, this was received into the collection box at All Saints Church, Asfordby during the lovely service conducted for May by Associate Minister Fiona Brant.

Thank you to all who attended the service and gave so generously to the chosen charity, your presence, kindness and generosity has brought a lot of comfort to The Family at such a difficult time.
