Sad to hear of Paul's passing. Great friends back in the day. There were not many DJs and groups who didn't use his services in the 70. He and his father built, repaired and maintained the PA systems for dozens of the town's entertainers. There was no-one else to turn to when your gear broke down or if you wanted advice.
Paul taught me how to solder, diagnose amp problems, build amps and circuits, make balsa control models, in short I learned a lot from Paul - the brain - cos he knew everything!
