Paul CharlesTHORNEYCROFTIt is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our dear Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandpa. Paul passed away peacefully at Good Hope Hospital on 19th April 2023 aged 88. He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his family. His funeral service will take place at Sutton Coldfield Crematorium on Thursday 1st June 2023 at 10.00am. Donations to Alzheimer's Society in memory of Paul can be made at www.alzheimers.org.uk. Sad to hear of Paul's passing. Great friends back in the day. There were not many DJs and groups who didn't use his services in the 70. He and his father built, repaired and maintained the PA systems for dozens of the town's entertainers. There was no-one else to turn to when your gear broke down or if you wanted advice.
Paul taught me how to solder, diagnose amp problems, build amps and circuits, make balsa control models, in short I learned a lot from Paul - the brain - cos he knew everything!
