IreneTHISTLETHWAITEPeacefully in her sleep on 26th August 2019, Irene aged 82 years of Rishton. The devoted wife of the late Eddie, much loved mum of Geoff, Christine, Alan and Marie, dear mother-in-law of Chris, Mel, Yvonne and Neil, cherished grandma of Andrew, Carly, Louise, Chris, Melanie, great-grandma of Declan, Carlo, Sophie, Morgan, Zoe, Isabella and Lucie and also a dear friend and relative. After leaving school at the age of 14, Irene worked in various factory roles. In 1956, she married Eddie at the age of 20. Irene loved all her family and especially looked forward to seeing her grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and watching suspense mysteries on the tv and completing puzzles.
