EddieTHAIN(Bedlington). Lesley and family of the late Eddie, wish to thank all relatives and friends for their kindness and support during Eddie's illness and for making his funeral an occasion to be remembered. The family were so proud to see so many people at St. Cuthbert's to pay their respects in such a dignified way and to give so generously to The Marie Curie Hospice for which a magnificent total of over ?1,000 was raised. Special thanks to Rev'd Derry Twomey, his eulogy was a fitting tribute and described Eddie exactly as all his many friends would remember him. Thanks to all Medical Staff who looked after Eddie and especially Staff at The Marie Curie Hospice where he and indeed all the family received such amazing care. Thanks also to Cynthia and Staff at John Grenfell & Son for the excellent funeral arrangements. Eddie was special not only to his close family but to his many friends and he will be missed so very much for being the wonderful and unique person that he was.
