He was also a member of the local Emerging Futures (Aspire) charity, who support local people with difficulties who have fallen on hard times. John sleeps leaving his childhood sweetheart and beloved wife Jean, his sons Mark and Charles, daughters-in-law Tina and Robyn, his grandson Callum, granddaughter Lauren, and his brothers Gary and Paul, along with sisters-in-law Maureen and Jill. The service is to be held on Wednesday, May 11 at 11am at Accrington Crematorium, led by David Ireland. Family flowers are welcome; kind donations to Emerging Futures CIC. So sorry to hear John passed away, we were lads together in St Pauls scouts, had many camps together and played with the scouts football team. We both also went to the Tech 56-60. lost touch for many years, we went to Canada in '74 and got in touch again via facebook, we chatted about Stanley, as we were both staunch supporters. Thinking of all his family at this sad time, sincere condolences. Bryan Pemberton.
