JohnTAYLORMr John Thomas Taylor, of Queen Elizabeth Crescent, Accrington, died on Monday, March 28, aged 78. John was a technical engineer. He was an Accrington Stanley season ticket holder, and loved holidaying with family. John was a prominent member of the Accrington Referees Association, a retained fireman, and a bass drum player of Accrington Boys Brigade Band. He leaves wife Jean, daughter Gillian, son Stuart, grandchildren Alex, Callum, and Scarlett, brother Alf, and was uncle to David and Jeff, and father-in-law to Leigh and Coreen. The funeral will be held on Friday, April 22, at 1pm with cremation at Accrington, led by Rev Stephen Crook. Family flowers only, with donations if desired requested to Alzheimer’s Research UK.
