JohnTAYLORJohn Taylor, of Hawthorn Avenue, Oswaldtwistle, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 28, aged 81. During his life John was a hard worker and worked as an electrician at Associated Dairies, as well as a Chief Engineer at Stanhill Mill. In his spare time and during his retirement he enjoyed going away in the caravan, walking his beloved dogs, and also listening to music, especially Elvis. He was also a member of the Blackburn Gun Club. He sadly leaves behind his dearly loving wife Sue, his much loved sons John, Neil and Shaun and step-daughters Sharon and Lorraine, his treasured grandchildren Lucy, Jessica, Courtney, Sophie, Joel and Kian, and his great-granddaughter Polly. John will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his family and friends. His funeral service will be held at 11.40am on Thursday, April 7, at Accrington Crematorium. Family flowers only please, but donations are welcomed in memory of John for either Dementia UK or Saluki Welfare c/o funeral director Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service, Oswaldtwistle.
