KathleenTAYLOROn Thursday, June 10, at her home in Oswaldtwistle, Kathleen peacefully passed away aged 93, surrounded by her family. Kathleen was the devoted wife of the late Leslie Taylor, beloved mother to John and Kevin, dear mother-in-law to Carol and Barbara, treasured grandma to Emma, Josh and Morgan, and great-grandma to Eliza and George. Kathleen was born in Oswaldtwistle and moved to Rishton at the age of eight, where she grew up. Kathleen met her late husband Leslie and spent 65 years together happily married. She enjoyed many hobbies, such as gardening, knitting and reading. She also enjoyed many holidays away in her caravan with Leslie in Cornwall, Scotland and Keswick. In the later years Kathleen and Leslie more recently enjoyed breaks away in Blackpool. Due to the current restrictions, a private family service will be held on Monday, June 28 at Accrington Crematorium. Donations can be made in memory of Kathleen to the East Lancashire Hospice.
