She is remembered as a warm, generous artist whose music touched generations and continues to fill dance floors and karaoke booths around the world.

She is survived by her husband of more than 50 years, her beloved Robert. Gaynor was a dear sister of Marlene, Angela, Avis, Paul and the late Pauline and Lynn, much loved sister-in-law of Paul & Angela, Michael & Winnie, Gwyn, Jan, Teresa, Margaret and the late Billy. A devoted and wonderful 'Aunty Gaynor' to all her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. The cherished daughter of the late Glyndwr and Elsie Hopkins.

Hi Robert,
Tudor here, French Polisher. So sad to hear about Gaynor. She was so kind when she heard my Mum passed (Joyce Harris from the chemist shop that gave her discount on perfume!)🤣.
During the Fernhill refit it was so funny to be working away and she'd pop in have a chat and make us a cup of tea... no wonder it took so long to finish! I only managed one boxing day party with you all but I remember my brother Jason (piano tuner) playing the piano and Gaynor walking me through the house asking me to fix this refinish that....😂. Miss you Gaynor❤️

Dear Bonnie,
Thank you for everything. For being the voice which got me through my teens and kept me alive when I wanted to give up. For your little notes and your encouragement. You will forever be in my heart.

To your family my deepest condolences especially your beloved Robert. You are on my mind and in my heart. Thank you for sharing your wife with the world. I hope you know she will live on in our hearts. It’s never good bye, it’s until we meet again.

With love from America
