William EllisSTRACHANPeacefully on 6th February 2023 after a long illness, Ellis aged 91 years. Retired Consultant Neurosurgeon, former Postgraduate Dean of Peninsula Medical School. Beloved husband of Lilias, Father to David, father-in-law to Liz and grandfather to Anna, Will and Fin The funeral service will be held at Efford Crematorium on Friday 3rd March 2023 at 12.15pm Family flowers only please, donations if desired for Mamie Martin Fund may be left online at wcpltd.com. He operated on me when l was just sixteen .l am now 59 and still able to walk.

My love and condolences to Mr Strachan's family and loved ones.
I want to pay my respects to Mr Strachan who I owe my life to, for saving me as a child.
I want to thank him for being the brilliant, funny, caring surgeon that he was. Without him I and countless others wouldn't be alive.
Thank you Mr Strachan, rest peacefully
