BarbaraSTOTHARD(Neé Taylor) At 12:14 am on Friday, July 11th, our beloved mum passed away peacefully, aged 80 years, after a courageous six-month battle with cancer. Barbara is survived by her husband Peter, as well as her children Fiona, Lisa, Martin & Andrew.
As a family, we are heartbroken by her loss but also immensely proud of her strength and resilience. She underwent multiple chemotherapy treatments and fought the illness with unwavering spirit and determination.
Her funeral will be held at St Bartholomew's Church, Eastoft at 11am on Monday 4th August followed by a private family service at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe. Afterwards, we will gather at The Red Lion, Crowle for a bite to eat and to celebrate and honour Barbara's remarkable life as a wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend to many.
In lieu of flowers, we kindly request any donations to be made to Lindsey Lodge Hospice, Scunthorpe where Barbara received exceptional care during her final weeks. These may be left at the service or sent c/o: R. Wallace & Son Funeral Directors 27 High Street, Crowle, DN17 4LD
