Michael ErnestSTOODLEYPassed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on 11 February 2026, aged 89.

Born in North Petherton, Somerset.

Devoted husband to Jenny. Dearly loved father to Donna, Louise and Vanessa, and father-in-law to Damian. Treasured grandfather to Matthew, James, Joseph, Spike and Layla. Also a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

Funeral service to take place at Tamar Valley Crematorium on 4 March 2026 at 1pm. Family flowers only. Donations will be gratefully received for St Luke's Hospice and Marie Curie; these can be made at https://mikestoodley.muchloved.com

A fine man by any definition. A genial, kind man who was warm hearted as a workmate and friend.
Even after our days of work came to end friendships continued with old colleagues with many happy get together times.
A family man too to his core.
Will be sorely missed.

Mike, a most respectable Gentleman, who was strong, brave, a devoted family man, loved and liked throughout his life by all who knew him. He shall be forever missed but always in our heart’s.
