JohnSTOKESIt is with great sorrow and sadness, following a long uphill struggle fought with huge tenaciousness, John passed away peacefully on Thursday 3rd January 2019. Loving husband of Shirley, adored father and stepfather of Jane, Martin and Vanessa and much loved granddad of Laura, Olwyn, Ieuan, Tegan, Lucinda and Harry. Funeral service will take place at St Bartholomew's Church, Sutton-Cum-Lound on Friday 1st February at 10.45am followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations in John's memory will benefit the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance in recognition of their work and support of the transport industry.
