The memories we have of your visits up north will stay with us always. Your infectious laugh and the stories of your journeys up and down the A9 with Martin never failed to have us crying with laughter. We were all truly blessed to have known you.

I feel very lucky to have known Helen and to have shared some truly special times with her. I’ll always treasure the Christmases and the lovely moments we spent together. She was such a warm, gentle and caring woman, and I’m grateful I got the chance to be part of her family. Sonny didn’t get to meet his Granny Helen, but he will grow up knowing exactly who she was and how much she loved him already. We’ll make sure he hears all the stories and knows the impact she had on everyone around her. She will be missed deeply, but never forgotten. 🤍

I only knew Helen for a few years but she was a great friend and neighbour. My whole family was touched by Helen.

Helen, I write this with a heavy heart… and a big smile, because you’d never let me be serious for too long.

I chose this photo of us because it sums up our relationship perfectly: absolutely full of nonsense. We spent more time laughing than doing anything useful, and honestly, that’s exactly how it should’ve been.

You were the only person I knew who could go to Asda “just for a look” and come out with half the clothing aisle. And the flip flops… no matter the weather, you were ready for summer.

I’ll always treasure our daft jokes, our bargain-hunting fashion shows and every moment you made ordinary life hilarious. You weren’t just my mother-in-law; you were a partner in crime — stylish, funny, and completely one-of-a-kind.

Thank you, Helen, for all the love, the laughter, and the madness. I’ll miss you forever… especially every time I walk past the clothes section in Asda. 🤪❤️
