-SR. CELINE DE ST. RAPHAELIt is with the deepest pain that the nieces and nephews of Sr. Celine de St. Raphael (Annie Niven) announce the death of their Aunt who died at home, St. Joseph's, peacefully and with great dignity on 22/12/2020 - four days prior to her 101st Birthday. Our family wish to offer a sincere thank you to Fr. Michael Murphy for such a beautifully emotive & uplifting Mass. As always, a special thank you to Fr. Joe McAuley for his spirituality & comforting words. We will be forever grateful to Mother Superior - Mother Marie-Claire and her Sisterly Community for their unfailing devotion and loving care. A special thank you to Nurse Claire for her unwavering devotion and love. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Dear Family of Sr. Celine de St. Raphael LSP. I am a Catholic Franciscan priest who knew your aunt when she was stationed in the Men's infirmary Sheffield England. She was one of the best people I have ever met in my life. I was only about fifteen years old, but the kindness, generosity, and gentleness of Sr. Celine will stay with me forever. I was devoted to her and was sorry when she left for Sunderland to take over the kitchen. I met her some years later when she had been moved to Bristol. For many years now I have been out of England but I will always think so fondly of your aunt who without doubt had a big influence on my own vocation to religious life because she was such a good example. I will offer Mass for her today.
