JohnSPENCEROn 4th November 2018 peacefully in hospital, John aged 73 years of Accrington. Much loved husband of Kathleen, loving dad of Kevin, Tony and John, loving grandad of Liam, also a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. As a youngster, John worked down the mines and then worked for the Gas Board as an engineer for over 25 years, before retiring due to ill health. A regular at the Canine Club, The Abbey and the Queen's, John liked a quiet pint or two along with his cigarettes and a flutter on the lottery. He enjoyed TV viewing and especially watching Westerns and he loved Clint Eastwood. He was also an avid reader of the Accrington Observer. John's funeral service will be held at Accrington Crematorium Chapel, Burnley Road, Accrington BB5 6HA on Thursday 15th November 2018 at 1pm followed by interment at Accrington Cemetery.
