Robert CarlSMITHPeacefully on 25th May 2026 at Ty Olwen Hospice, Swansea.

Carl, beloved husband of Christine and loving father of Robert and Catherine,
will be remembered with great affection. His seemingly endless supply of shipwreck stories
will be recalled by many with a smile.

A private cremation will be followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for Carl's life at
All Saints Church, Oystermouth on Monday 22nd June at 12.15pm.

Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu if desired may be sent to RNLI (Mumbles)

In my early years in Bishop Gore, Karl was a great support to me as a colleague. I also learnt an immense amount from him as he encouraged me in researching local history - I owe him a great deal and feel greatly saddened at his passing away.
