JohnSMITH(Alnwick) Sheila, Martin, Katherine and Sarah and all John's family wish to sincerely thank friends for their cards, messages of sympathy and flowers. Thank you to Rev'd Canon Paul Scott for conducting the uplifting service. Thanks also to Peter Townsend of Alistair Turner Funeral Directors for his efficiency in carrying out the funeral arrangements. We are grateful to everyone at ARFC for their support and wish to thank Taste of Northumberland for the catering. Finally, special thanks to all those who attended the Memorial Service and contributed so generously to the amazing total of ?1,500 which is to be shared between the British Lung Foundation and the Stroke Association. John will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
