Erik RobertSMART(Newcastle) Erik died suddenly on the 26th December 2019. Much loved husband of Kath, father of Rachel and Sarah, father in law of Ben and Nick, son of Vigdis, brother of Harald, Ellen and Paula and doting papa of Sam, Eliza and Bertie. He attended Gateshead Grammer School before moving to Redcar were he worked on Propathene 5, ICI Wilton. He finished his career with RVA Engineering. An enthusiastic member of Redcar Rhythm and Blues Club and a dedicated member of Redcar Rugby Club. Erik's funeral will take place at Kirkleatham Crematorium, Redcar on Friday 17th January 2020 at 1pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Teesside Hospice and to Freeman Hospital, Newcastle, alternatively a grove of trees are to be planted in Erik's name; donations can be made at https:/treesforlife.org.uk/groves/130400/
