Dad, my partner in crime, I don’t know how to put into words how much you meant to me. You taught me so much in life including how to behave with a bit of cheek. I will miss you everyday, especially our daily chats about our work days, jokes, sport and family. Love you always, Darren xxxx

We are so sorry to hear of Mels passing.
My memories are of going head to head on many occasions when we slogged through the mud, uphill and down dale throughout Lincolnshire when we competed against each other for our respective athletic clubs.
He was a thoroughly nice, pleasant and fair in both life and competition. A loverly, friendly human being.
Our most sincere condolences go to his loverly wife, Josie, Wayne and to all of those who were close to Mel.
RIP
