RolandSISTERSON(Cullercoats). Suddenly on 6th January, aged 77 years, Roland, beloved husband of Ann, dear father of Paul and Clare and also a much loved grandfather. Funeral Service at Whitley Bay Crematorium on Wednesday 28th January at 12.45pm. Family flowers only please but donations for Cullercoats Lifeboat (RNLI) may be made at the crematorium or sent c/o R.J. Ryland Funeral Services, 1 Farringdon Road, Cullercoats, NE30 3ER.

For a very fine Chief Engineer...........


Having sailed with Roland Sisterson on the " Overseas Ambassador ", he was a great Chief Engineer. Roland also brought out my love of photography, which I am still enjoying. Thank you Chief, hope all your seas are calm ones.
