Christopher Michael JohnSISSONSKnown to us all as 'Chris' sadly passed away on Thursday 23rd April 2026 on the 'Southwest liver unit', 'Avon ward' at Derriford hospital, Plymouth.
Son of Terri (previously known as 'Terri Dearn'), Steve and Andy (paternal father). Brother of Tyra and Sapphire and her boyfriend Chris and a very special uncle of Vincent. He is so greatly missed. Chris was loveable, funny and was known as a real character who made us laugh and cry loads. His strong will and determination helped him through life. He fought to thrive from birth and strove for independence and choice, achieving to live independently and living life to its fullest on his own terms'. Chris always, 'said it how it was' and 'lived in the moment of time'.
The funeral service will be held at The Park Crematorium, Room 1, 205 Merafield Road, Plympton, Plymouth, PL7 1UQ, On Friday 22nd May at 2pm. All welcome to celebrate his life afterwards.
Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of Chris, can be put towards supporting Avon ward at Derriford Hospital, where Chris was looked after during a long stay on the ward last year and during his last weeks.
