Our Gill became a Sill
Tamed uncle paul against his will
She grabbed his heart and ours too
She always knew just what to do
A mother, a friend a wife to paul
With aunty Gill we had a ball

She laughed she drank she danced a lot
They walked the peaks cold or not
Through rain and snow they would not shiver
Rolling rolling rolling river
She did the dance, she sang the song
Those who saw would tap along

She cared for others all her life
To uncle paul she was the wife
She loved us alll we loved her too
Now we wonder , what to do
Life goes on I bet she’d say
If only she was here today

We miss you Gill, wish you were here
We will march on, we have no fear
Your time with us should have been longer
Your ways and words will leave us stronger
Rest now Gill your fight is done
In your name we’ll have some fun

Rest in peace
Lots of love
