CatherineSHANLEYIn Loving Memory At home on 2nd November 2019, aged 76 years. Catherine, daughter of the late Ellen and William Shanley and sister to Judith, Tony, Jenny and the late Peter. Cath will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Service and committal will take place at Oldham Crematorium on Friday 22nd November at 1.00pm. Family flowers only please. All enquiries to S. Wellens & Sons (Tel 0161 643 2677).

I am devastated to only just hear such sad news. I will miss your down to earth, no nonsense approach to life and your wicked dry sense of humour. You were really a very special lady and the world will be a lesser place without you. Thank you for always being there for me and taking care of my dog Ben and shetland pony Sam, who you adopted and loved like you did with all animals. Much easier to deal with than those pesky humans!!! Thank you for being such a wonderful friend to myself and my dad Jim

Catch, you were a lovely lady you taught me to horse ride when I was younger. My dad Norman Ryan dropped me off every Sunday at your mum and dad's. You will be missed by all the family 😘😘
