ChristineSEERYMrs Christine Seery, of Mather Avenue, Accrington, passed away on Thursday, June 30, aged 77. She worked at Highams as a packer and later worked at Rists Wires and Cables as Team Leader until her retirement. She loved dogs Tina and Lady, and holidays in America with her beloved husband Malcolm and dearest friend Stephen. She also enjoyed frequent visits to the Fylde Coast. In later life, she spent many afternoons completing jigsaws. Christine was the daughter of the late Katherine and James, much-loved wife to Malcolm, loving mother to Lynn and mother-in-law to John, and devoted Nanna to Sarah and Abbie. Christine was sister to Jean, Margaret, Jack, Jeffrey, Brian, Peter, Tony, Jim and Catherine. She also leaves behind much-loved family, partners, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Royal Blackburn Hospital, especially the team on ward C22 for their care towards the end of her life. They would also like to thank respiratory teams on Ward C8 and on Ward C10 for the ongoing care provided by the dedicated doctors and nurses. A funeral service was due to take place at 11am on Thursday, July 14, at Accrington Crematorium Chapel, administered by Father Roger Parker, followed by cremation. Family flowers only please, however, donations, if desired, requested to International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) or North West Air Ambulance, c/o funeral director Hyndburn Funeral Services, Accrington.
