Ian DavidRUSSELLSadly passed away after a short illness at Gloucester Royal Hospital on Sunday 13th November aged 63 years. A Beloved partner to Helen, son to John and brother to Andrew who will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Ian left school to work at Eagle Star, then Cheltenham General Hospital’s Radiology Department, Be Social and finally the Co Op both in Winchcombe. He was a lifelong fan of Chelsea FC, season ticket holder at both Cheltenham Town and Cheltenham Racecourse. He loved walking, riding and holidaying. Service to be held at the Oak Chapel of Cheltenham Crematorium on Thursday 8th December at 3:00pm. Following the service, a wake will be held in the Winchcombe Conservative Working Men’s Club, where people are kindly invited to bring their own photos of Ian that they would be kind enough to part with. Family flowers only. I’m sorry to hear of Ian’s passing. I’ll never forget the smile on his face as I declared my support for Chelsea. He replied “It’s lonely at the top, but you’ll get used to it.” Regards from the states.
