Patricia AnneROONEYDied peacefully, surrounded by her family at Royal Derby Hospital, on 22nd April 2026, aged 93 years.

Devoted wife to the late Joe, beloved mum to Mary, Anne, Carmel and Maureen. A very dear mum-in-law to Hugh, David and Roy. Cherished grandma/granny to Joe, Ashleigh, Patrick, Rebecca, Sarah, Laurie, Daniel and Lucy. Treasured great-grandma to Thomas, Cían and Ruairí. Beloved sister of the late Teresa, Kathleen and Seamus, dearly loved auntie and friend to many.

Requiem Mass Thursday 28th May 9.30am at St Mary's and St Modwen's RC Church, followed by committal at Stapenhill Cemetery.

Donations in loving memory of Patricia will be gratefully received, these will support the work of 'Alzheimer's Society' and may be placed in the collection box at the service.

So very sorry to hear of Pat's passing. My brother and I have lots of happy memories of our childhood when the Rooney family were our neighbours. Such a lovely family. We spent many happy times together. We were sad when they moved. Our deepest condolences to Mary, Anne, Carmel, Maureen and families.
