ThomasRONEYMr Thomas Roney, of Oakdene Avenue, Huncoat, died on Sunday, February 13, aged 75. Thomas was an engineer, and retired from Callender Aeropart Accrington. He was an Accrington Stanley season ticket holder, and member of the Supporters’ Club. He loved all sports, including golf, football, and rugby. He leaves wife Dorothy Roney, stepchildren Lynsey, Adam, Ian, Graham, Neil, Emma, and Helen, grandchildren Megan, Nathan, Harry, Evie, Luke, Matt, Antonia, Jake, Tom, Lauren, Caitlin, Frances, Charlotte, and Michael, and great-grandchild Iris. The funeral will be held on Monday, February 28, at 10.20am at Accrington Crematorium, led by Kathy Unsworth. Family flowers only please; donations if desired to Cancer Research.
