Special thanks to Dr Cavanagh, Vicky at PRI and the paramedics for their care and attention, to Rev. Philip Patterson for his kind words and comforting and thoughtful service, to Andrew and stafff at James McEwan & Son Funeral Directors for their guidance and help with all the arrangements and to the many who paid their last respects to John at the Crematorium and donated so generously the sum of £950 for the Gannochy Trust Diabetes Research Centre, Cornhill House, Perth.
