Passed away peacefully on 23 November 2025 aged 82 years Eddie, beloved husband of the late June. A much loved dad of Susan and dear father-in-law of Fred, devoted grandad Eddie to Amy, Faye and the late Ashley. Will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Would friends please meet for service and cremation at West Road Crematorium on Monday 15 December 2025 at 11.15am.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to St. Oswalds Hospice.

So sorry to have to say goodbye to my uncle Eddie. Always had a twinkle in his eye, a lovely big smile and was always ready with a big hug and a cheeky snowball at Christmas. Much loved and will be dearly missed. Rest in peace with aunty June xx lots of love Julie, Ryan,Sophie & Lucy xx

Throughout everything he never lost his sense of humour. All the carers looking after him.loved him. I am sure they will have all heard, on more than one occasion, Eddie talk about the Great North Run and how many times he took part. Such a lovely man, R.I.P Eddie xxx
